- 1 pound turkey bacon
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the slow cooker, add bacon, onions, and garlic. Stir.
- Add pumpkin puree, beans, tomatoes, broth, and spices. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir before serving. Enjoy!

- For extra heat, add cayenne pepper to taste.
- Serve with cornbread for a complete meal.
