A simple and delicious recipe for slow cooker Asian meatballs that makes for a perfect weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha sauce, then pour it over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add chopped cilantro before serving.
  • Meatballs can be served over rice or noodles.
