- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven.
- In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add lemon juice and lemon zest, mixing well.
- Spread the lemon cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
- Top with whipped cream and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For an extra tart flavor, increase the amount of lemon juice.
