A tasty and unique way to prepare zucchini with Korean flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 zucchinis
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the zucchinis into thin rounds.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat the egg in another bowl.
  4. Dip zucchini slices into flour, then egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the zucchini until golden brown on each side.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil, then sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add more panko breadcrumbs.
  • Serve with a spicy dipping sauce for added flavor.
