A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this grilled cheese is packed with flavor and perfect for a quick meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  2. Layer provolone cheese on top of the beef mixture.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Assemble the sandwiches with the meat mixture and cheese between two slices of bread, buttered side out.
  5. Grill the sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
