- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, and green onions.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a pan, combine honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Cook until thickened.
- Steam the broccoli until tender.
- Once meatballs are done, coat them with the sauce and serve with broccoli.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave.
