Delight in layers of flavor with these spicy shrimp sushi stacks, perfect for seafood lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 4 sheets nori seaweed
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce to create a spicy mayo.
  3. Layer cooked sushi rice in a small mold or bowl.
  4. Add a layer of shrimp topped with spicy mayo and cucumber.
  5. Add slices of avocado and another layer of rice.
  6. Press down and carefully remove from the mold.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce.

Notes

  • For more heat, add extra sriracha to the spicy mayo.
  • Feel free to substitute shrimp with your choice of seafood.
