  • 4 pieces chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk (for soaking chicken)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, soak chicken thighs in buttermilk and season with paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer.
  6. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Roll out biscuit dough and cut into rounds, then bake until golden.
  8. Assemble by placing fried chicken between two biscuits.
