  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In the slow cooker, combine chicken broth, chicken breasts, carrots, celery, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the soup.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.
