A simple and comforting recipe for chicken noodle soup made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Add chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. Shred the chicken and return it to the pot.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Garnish with parsley before serving.
