Ingredients

  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1 cup mussels, cleaned
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in the seafood stock, cream, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the shrimp, crab meat, and mussels. Cook until the seafood is fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker bisque, blend part of the soup and return it to the pot.
  • Adjust the spices according to your preference.
