  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Turn the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add a little oil.
  2. Add the chopped carrots and celery, sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. Season the vegetables with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Add the chicken broth and stir to combine.
  5. Place the chicken breasts in the pot and close the lid.
  6. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  7. Once done, quick release the pressure and shred the chicken.
  8. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and drop them into the broth.
  9. Seal the lid again and cook on high pressure for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Release the pressure, stir in the shredded chicken and parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables like peas for more flavor.
