A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring ground beef and turkey bacon for a flavorful experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onions and bell peppers until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Layer the cooked beef mixture into the hoagie rolls, top with slices of provolone cheese, and return to the skillet to melt the cheese.
  5. Serve the cheesesteaks topped with crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a spicier option, add some jalapeños.
