Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until tender.
  3. Add ground beef, garlic powder, and onion powder to the skillet. Cook until beef is browned.
  4. Place turkey bacon on top of the beef mixture and sprinkle shredded provolone cheese.
  5. Cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
  6. Serve the mixture in hoagie rolls.

Notes

  • Feel free to add jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Serve with a side of fries for a complete meal.
