A delightful twist on the classic green bean casserole made gluten-free with the addition of turkey bacon for extra flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup gluten-free cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add the green beans and sauté for a few minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed green beans, crumbled turkey bacon, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese and gluten-free fried onions.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
  • For extra crunch, add more gluten-free fried onions on top just before serving.
