  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup capers
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Remove chicken and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  7. Stir in chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers; bring to a simmer.
  8. Add chicken back to the pan and simmer until heated through.
  9. Garnish with parsley before serving.
