  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, flour, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and fill it with the apple mixture.
  4. Dot the apples with pieces of butter.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
  6. Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 30-35 minutes, until the apples are soft and the crust is golden.
