A deliciously creamy pasta dish made with tomato and garlic, paired with turkey bacon for a comforting meal.

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and chopped turkey bacon to the sauce, mixing until well coated.
  7. Serve topped with grated Parmesan and fresh basil.

Notes

  • This dish can be made with any type of pasta.
  • Feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if desired.
