- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 batch biscuits, for serving
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- Mix in cream, chicken, peas, carrots, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve over freshly baked biscuits.
Notes
