A warm, hearty cowboy soup packed with flavor, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
  2. Add the chicken ham and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and add the diced tomatoes and mixed vegetables.
  4. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more chili powder.
  • This soup can be made a day ahead and reheated.
