  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the melted butter.
  3. Add baking soda and salt, then stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the flour until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Layer half of the batter in a greased loaf pan, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, and top with remaining batter.
  7. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing.
