A delicious and comforting soup featuring tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory broth.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add sliced beef and cook until browned.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add broccoli and soy sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the pot to thicken.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
