These Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes are the perfect indulgent treat that you can easily make at home.

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 cup pastry cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the milk and vanilla.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cupcakes cool completely before filling with pastry cream.
  10. Pipe or spoon the pastry cream into the center of each cupcake.
  11. Drizzle the chocolate ganache over the tops of the filled cupcakes.
