- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil macaroni according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour and stir for about 1 minute until bubbly.
- Slowly whisk in milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika; cook until thickened.
- Stir in 3 cups of shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.
- Combine macaroni and cheese sauce, turkey bacon, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
